Vela Software Enters Thailand, Acquires CAN Innovation

The Canadian tech subsidiary has acquired Thai firm CAN Innovation, a leader in distribution management software, to expand into Southeast Asia.

Vela Software Group, an operating arm of Canadian tech giant Constellation Software Inc. (TSX: CSU), has officially entered the Thai market with its acquisition of CAN Innovation Co., Ltd., a leading local provider of distribution management software.

The deal, announced on October 2, 2025, marks a significant milestone for Vela as it plants its flag in Thailand, signaling a reinforced commitment to long-term growth across the burgeoning Southeast Asian tech landscape.

Founded in 2012, CAN Innovation is known for its flagship product, Salestools, a software platform designed to help manufacturers and distributors streamline their complex supply chain operations, optimize salesforce management, and adapt to rapidly changing market dynamics.

By joining Constellation Software’s vast global portfolio of over 1,300 software businesses, CAN Innovation gains access to significant resources and global industry best practices. The move is expected to accelerate product development and enhance service quality for its client base.
